Booking hotels

Booking hotels and campsites is crazy. We use trip advisor and have now been scared away from hundreds of hotels. People who write hotel reviews revel in sharing gory details that include bedbug infestations, leaking toilets, mysterious stains on their pull-out sofa bed and rude employees. Most places begin to look like the Bates Hotel after perusing the reviews. Suddenly, sleeping in the back of the Suburu looks very appealing to us!

That is why frequent travelers stick to well known national chains, and avoid the campgrounds where Jason and Freddy hang out!

I always "wonder" the validity of people writing reviews... I have intentions to write them myself...then totally forget... but I've frequently thought "it was better" then I expected...maybe I have low expectations and just grateful to get into a "made" bed!

Be specific with your requests. If you require a sleep mask and a room on a quiet floor, the staff may provide the mask and book your room on a floor with no children.
