We were lucky to have Ann cooking our breakfast and dinner in her Easter apron.
Today was scary road driving to see wonderful views. This is the road to the Flaming Gorge Dam.
A solidly built dam. We went from the top all the way down to the bottom on a narrow winding road.
Throughout our scenic drive Charlie buckled in and napped on all the 10 hairpin turns (that's 20 since we had to drive back down them too).
The drive and all of Randi's anxiety was rewarded with this spectacular view from the River Canyon Lodge.
We celebrated our accomplishment with a photo of the breathtaking scene.
We stopped for lunch at a little fishing place called Trout Creek that had a Korean barbecue place in it.
We sampled their delicious food which was a change of pace from the usual western fare.
On the way back we took a different winding, bumpy dirt road to Vernal.
The red rock landscape looks like dinosaur plates.
While our Easter dinner was cooking in the oven, we played a competitive game of croquet on the lawn.
After croquet, the games continued until dinner, a movie and then a welcome good night after a long day of sightseeing.
